commissioning process is simple. First of all, we ask that you provide us with all the details of the project you have in mind, however vague or defined they might be. We need to know the approximate budget, size and style we are working with before we can begin designing. Think about exactly which colours / woods / effects you are aiming for, and what special features you might like. Send us any photos and research materials that can help. If possible, we may like to visit the location you have in mind for the piece (and for personal apparel, your measurements). We can be very accommodating to your specific requests. Since it is the designing process that is most important towards the eventual success of a piece, we will spend as much time as necessary on this stage until we are satisfied that all details have been worked out. When the design has been finalized, we will then ask for a 50% or 25% deposit (depending on the size of the commission) to begin the work. The deposit is put towards the initial material costs, and is subtracted from the final payment. The commissioning contract will outline the approximate time-frame and final cost, as well as shipping details if necessary. For very large orders, we may ask for installments.
